About the event
Now is not the time to shy away. Join Giveadelphia for a workshop led by Victor Self, VP of Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging at Barry's. During this hour, you'll learn specific strategies for minimizing the impact of unconscious bias in our community.Â
We all have unconscious bias. It's part of the human experience and the conditioning that creates these biases starts at a very young age. They are reinforced by what we see, what we are told and what we read and experience. Unconscious bias influences individuals, teams and organizations. Supporting a diverse and inclusive community requires that we acknowledge that these biases exist and that we learn how to effectively work through them.
All proceeds benefit Youth Sentencing & Reentry Project.
