Welcome to the Alumni Corner!
The Giveadelphia alumni group ensures that we can continue to make an impact with our non-profit beneficiaries even after our yearly partnership is over. Once the giving season comes to a close, donations are distributed to the current beneficiary with a percentage going to our alumni group to help sustain the organization's humanitarian and community impact.

We encourage our network to stay engaged with organizations that have partnered with Giveadelphia. At our core, our goal is to build lasting relationships between young professionals and the non-profits that we introduce.
2020-2021 Youth Sentencing & Reentry Project
The Youth Sentencing & Reentry Project (YSRP) uses direct service and policy advocacy to transform the experiences of children prosecuted in the adult criminal justice system, and to ensure fair and thoughtful resentencing and reentry for individuals who were sentenced to life without parole as children (“Juvenile Lifers”). YSRP partners with court-involved youth and Juvenile Lifers, their families, and lawyers to develop holistic, humanizing narratives that mitigate the facts of each case; get cases transferred to the juvenile system or resentenced; and make crucial connections to community resources providing education, healthcare, housing, and employment. YSRP also provides training on mitigation, and recruits, trains and supervises students and other volunteers to assist in this work. Their ultimate goal is to keep children out of adult jails and prisons.

In 2021, Giveadelphia raised $43,000 to support their advocacy efforts and provide substantial funding for their program, Intergenerational Healing Circles.

2019-2020 The RELIEF Foundation
The R.E.L.I.E.F. Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to global populations affected by natural disaster. Founded in 2005 by students from the University of Miami, R.E.L.I.E.F. has traveled all over the world to help rebuild, rejuvenate and empower communities experiencing hardship due to earth's forces.

All R.E.L.I.E.F. projects go through a rigorous review process to ensure that they are intentional, sustainable and meet the most critical needs of the affected area. R.E.L.I.E.F. partners with local community leaders and NGOs to ignite medical, humanitarian and reconstruction projects that will provide tangible benefits and a lasting impact to individuals and communities.

In 2020, Giveadelphia raised $20,000 for the fight against COVID-19 and providing people and health workers with personal protective equipment (PPE).
